Tuned to a more familiar Margiela motif, one could find that there was a certain return of the kind of intellectualism into the inspiration.
For me, there was a certain message in the clothes. (I am also watching the Da Vinci Code as I watch this) In order to decipher the message, I used the power of selective perception in order to identify and metaphors that were extended to the clothes. The look that was most vocal was this:
A watch band belt around the waist. Translation: WATCH THE WAIST
From the looks earlier, they showed these gravity defying full length skirts that give me a a reason to watch the waist.
The waist is a kind of bucket shape, which is not filled all of the way. This could mean Margiela's team at the helm are not overwhelmed with filling role.
Yet another watch band waisted coat with a simple cardigan, all over a silver lamé shirt which is in close relation to the body of the model. What does this mean? Possibly that their creation is imitable of metal, hard and not easily broken. But the fact that it is molded to the body and walking down this runway, they're saying that they don't have much of a problem lasting in the future. Then this walked down the runway.
... And I knew they have exactly what it took to last, veiled and protected by the brain.
But who knows. This is only my perception.
