Haider Ackermann

"Sensuality at its best" would classify Haidier Ackermann's first presentation at Pitti Uomo. Pictures even capture the ease in the presentation and the sexiness in the drape of the geometric tapestries that were inspired by connections to North Africa. Haider himself said he was very inspired by his location in Florence, preparing to present at Pitti Uomo. 

But I saw a different Italian connection that would perfectly fit a character that does not relate to Haider Ackermann's man, or could possibly be Haider's man.

Desdemona and Othello, clad in Haider's clothes would fit perfectly on stage preforming Othello, the Moor of Venice. Othello's extrinsic connections to North Africa are obvious through Othello and in each role as he is staged by Shakespearean influence, and his wardrobe takes cues from that location. 

What struck me as even more interesting was Hadier's woman in the show. She is sensually dressed and very well subject to being courted by other men. But, it is her sensuality that is the object of Othello's lust and the reason they are together.

Yes, yes, I know Desdemona is intentionally undressed here, but she is the object of desire here. Let's not forget.

I'm not sure if it was meant to be this way, but the relationship between Othello and Desdemona seem to be related in Haider's mens collection, which is not verbally evident, but is clearly illustrated.
